Our FBC Leadership
Pastor Toby Walrath was voted in as the Interim Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church in August 2025 and
has been faithfully serving in ministry for over 25 years having held positions within churches including
Youth Leader, Deacon, and Finance Committee member.
In recent years he served as the Chairman of the board for Helping Hands Healing Hearts in
Sandpoint, Idaho helping those in need with food, clothing and housing. At the same time, he helped
found and then Chaired the non-profit organization: Good Samaritan Inn, a transitional living facility for
homeless people in North Idaho and the surrounding area.
Toby received his A.S. in Wilderness Leadership in 1997 and later a B.A. in Environmental Planning. He
has a deep passion for troubled teens and worked for Aspen Education Group at the Adirondack
Leadership Expedition program where he enjoyed reuniting families through reconciliation and
improved communication.
Preaching the Gospel, equipping believers, and reaching the local community with the love of Christ
Pastor Toby has received Biblical training through the Rocky Mountain Bible College and courses offered
through International Messengers. Toby has also served under three Pastors as a teacher, preacher and
student, and has filled vacancies in pulpit supply for churches in Idaho and Montana for the past 7 years.
He brings both biblical truth and practical teaching to every message. His heart is to see lives
transformed through faith, prayer, and authentic relationships.
Pastor Toby and his wife Katie, have been married for 24 years and are blessed with their son Kaden.
Together, they own and operate Bull River Farm in Noxon and in their free time they enjoy the outdoors
together often hunting and fishing or hiking and riding horses in the mountains.
David Hall – Deacon
David serves the First Family as one of our Deacons, a Trustee, and on the Pastor’s Advisory Team, as business meeting Moderator, and an adult Sunday School teacher.
Patrick McKinzie – Chairman of Deacons and Trustees
Patrick Serves the First Family as the Chairman of Deacons and Trustees, on the Fellowship Team, on the Pastor’s Advisory Team, on the Praise Team, and as the unofficial Facilities and Properties Manager.
Kim Roberts – Deacon
Kim serves the First Family as a Deacon, Stewardship Committee, Nominating Committee and on the Pastor’s Advisory Team.
Karren McKinzie – Worship Music Director and Treasurer
Karren serves the First Family as the Worship Music Director, on the Fellowship Team, and the Church Clerk.
Kellee McKinzie Drane – Director of Media Production
Kellee serves the First Family as the Director of Media Production. This includes the worship service streaming broadcast, production of the visual arts for worship services, social media, print media, and she assists with the coordination of the Tech Team.
Ray & Sarah Bailey- Youth Leaders
Ray and Sarah serve the church and community by feeding, leading and loving on the Youth Group, ages 13-18, of this church. Coordinating games and bible based lessons every week on Wednesday nights at 6pm.
